The presentation and exhibition of Balkan Periodicals Project in YTB, Ankara

Supported by the Presidency for Turks Abroad and Related Communities and implemented by the Balkan Studies Foundation, the “Balkan Periodicals: Trajectory of the Islamic Thought, 1918-2018” project was inaugurated in Ankara. The event witnessed the esteemed participation of Dr. Yılmaz Nazif, Deputy Minister of National Education of the Republic of Turkey; Mr. Abdullah Eren, President of the YTB; Prof. Dr. Mehmet Görmez, President of the Institute of Islamic Thought; and numerous distinguished participants from both Turkey and abroad.

As part of the programme, a panel discussion was moderated by Dr. Sevba Abdula, President of the Balkan Studies Foundation. The panel featured distinguished speakers including Vedat S. Ahmed, President of the Supreme Islamic Shura of Bulgaria; Dr. Ahmet Köroğlu from Istanbul University; and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Hamdi Çilingir from Sakarya University.

The “Balkan Periodicals: Trajectory of the Islamic Thought, 1918-2018” project concluded with a ceremonial gift presentation and a group photograph.

Yurtdışı Türkler ve Akraba Toplulukları Başkanlığı tarafından desteklenen ve Balkan Çalışmaları Vakfı tarafından yürütülen “Balkanlarda Süreli Yayınlar: İslam Düşüncesinin Serüveni, 1918-2018” projesinin tanıtım programı, Türkiye Cumhuriyeti Milli Eğitim Bakan Yardımcısı Sayın Dr. Yılmaz Nazif, YTB Başkanı Sayın Abdullah Eren, İslâm Düşünce Enstitüsü Başkanı Sayın Prof. Dr. Mehmet Görmez ve yurt içi ile yurt dışından birçok seçkin katılımcının iştirakiyle Ankara’da gerçekleştirildi.

Bu program kapsamında, Balkan Çalışmaları Vakfı Başkanı Dr. Sevba Abdula’nın moderatörlüğünde düzenlenen panelde, Bulgaristan Yüksek İslam Şura Başkanı Vedat S. Ahmed, İstanbul Üniversitesi’nden Dr. Öğr. Üyesi Ahmet Köroğlu ve Sakarya Üniversitesi’nden Doç. Dr. Hamdi Çilingir konuşmacı olarak yer aldı.

“Balkanlarda Süreli Yayınlar: İslam Düşüncesinin Serüveni, 1918-2018” projesinin tanıtım programı, hediye takdimi ve çekilen toplu fotoğrafın ardından sona erdi.
