Students from the Balkan Studies Foundation: Anesa Etem, Eliza Abdul, and Saniye Abdula participated in the fourth training program of Anadolu Agency’s GreenLens: Environmental and Climate Journalism Training project.
The week-long program brought together students and media professionals from Türkiye, North Macedonia, Romania, and France, providing participants with comprehensive training in environmental and climate journalism. Through expert, lectures, workshops, and practical sessions, attendees explored key topics including climate science, environmental reporting, media ethics, crisis communication, and sustainable journalism practices.
The GreenLens project, coordinated by Anadolu Agency with the support of the European Union and the Turkish National Agency, aims to strengthen the capacity of young journalists and media professionals to report accurately and responsibly on climate change and environmental issues.
