Skopje School of Thought program consists of seminars, reading groups, an article writing process, and a graduation program.
SST applications start in September/October and March/April.
The program is spread over 2 years at most. Spring and Autumn’s terms are determined as the academic calendar. Participants must complete a minimum of 8 seminars in the program.
The seminars are determined over the categories of Islamic sciences, history, sociology, thought, economics, politics, international relations, the Balkans, and Macedonia. The course contents of the seminars are determined by the instructors in advance and shared with the participants. It is expected that the information transfer in the seminars will be interactive, visual, and as practical as possible.
Seminars can be conducted in Turkish, Albanian, Macedonian, English, and other Balkan languages.
Students who attend the seminars regularly and are successful in the exam are entitled to take part in the second-level reading groups. Reading groups consist of 4-6 sessions of intensive reading, discussion, critical thinking, and analysis writing processes on a Balkan subject. It is managed by an expert in the field.
The third stage of the SST program is the article writing process. It includes at least 6 months, two reports, and the submission of the article. Participants are expected to complete a scientific research and writing process under the supervision of an academic advisor.
The SST program ends with the graduation ceremony, which includes the presentation of the articles
