She was born in 1976, in Sarajevo. She completed his undergraduate studies at the Faculty of Philosophy, University of Sarajevo. She pursued his master's studies at Faculty of Philosophy –Universityof Sarajevo with the subject: “Everyday life in Sarajevo under the rule of Topal Osman-Pasha1861-1869.” Younis earned his doctoral degree at the same university, department of philosophy by defending his dissertation on the subject of the “Merchants in Sarajevo 1851-1878.” Since 2003 she is engaged as lecturer in various positions at the University of Sarajevo – Institute of History, where currently she serves as Scientific Advisor at the same University. Notably, she holds membership in theEuropean Association of History Teachers – EUROCLIO, EthicsCommittee of Institute of History Sarajevo, Honour -Arab Women Media Centre - Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan etc. Participated in many promotions, open lectures, and dialogues organized by the Institute of History University of Sarajevo.
