Bedriye Uzuner was born in Kırklareli. She graduated from the Faculty of Political Science at Istanbul University, Department of International Relations. She continued her education for a while in the United States at Wichita State University. She completed her master’s degree in the Department of History at Istanbul Medeniyet University with her thesis titled “Migrations from Bulgaria to Turkey and Their Effects on the Province of Kırklareli (1950–1951).” She also successfully completed the Skopje Academy program in 2025 and she is currently pursuing her doctoral studies in the Department of History at Istanbul Medeniyet University. She is a member of the BSF Blog Editorial Board. Her researches focuse on Balkan history and Turkish migrations from Balkans.
